Hood River Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit youth lacrosse program providing boys and girls with the opportunity to learn, play, and grow through the game of lacrosse. We are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive environment where young athletes develop strong fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership—both on and off the field.

Our program is led by dedicated volunteer coaches who emphasize skill development, confidence, and character at every level.

Program & Practice Information

Grades 5/6 & 7/8

Practices begin the first week of March
Location and frequency will vary for early season practices due to wet field conditions
Typically by the 3rd week of March, teams will practice up to 4 days per week outdoors
All schedule information will be communicated via SportsYou

Grades 1/2 & 3/4

Practices begin after Oregon Spring Break
2 practices per week

Games & Tournaments

Games

Games are held on Saturdays throughout April and May
Some away games may require travel to the Portland area

Tournaments (Grades 5/6 & 7/8 only)

Two optional (not mandatory) tournaments
Locations: Sisters and Tualatin
